My grandmother made the best southern grave for biscuits anyone has ever tried. Any person who has tried it says so :) please give it a whirl, you wont be disappointed!!! Ingredients:
dripping, from cooked sausage |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/2 cup milk |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. mix in flour with drippings. 2. cook on medium heat until it appears to almost be burning. make sure its not clumpy. 3. quickly whisk in milk. 4. turn heat off. 5. keep on burner and whisk until thickened. 6. add salt and pepper. 7. serve over biscuits and enjoy! |
