Grandma Lloyd's Chocolate Cake!

My fiance's grandmother famous recipe that she used in her own restaurant! Makes one 9 x 13 OR 3 layer cakes. Courtesy of Karen Bressler.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup sour milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
5 eggs, well beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 ounces chocolate, melted
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon flour, for pan
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add eggs one at a time, mix well between each addition. Add chocolate and milk.
3. Add sour milk to batter and mix well. (Sour milk- add 1 teaspoons vinegar to milk).
4. Combine baking soda, flour and a pinch of salt.
5. Slowly add flour mixture to batter until well beaten.
6. Grease and flour pan.
7. Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
