As Phenie would make it. You can also make this in the crock pot after you brown the beef, onion and pepper. You can also add more chili powder if you like. Yummy. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 medium green pepper, chopped |
1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
3/4 cup uncooked rice |
Directions:
1. Brown beef in skillet. 2. Add onion and green pepper and cook until tender; drain fat. 3. Add tomatoes and seasonings; bring to a boil. 4. Stir in rice. 5. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30-35 minutes. |
