Grandma Deana's Chicken Casserole |

A very simple, yet very much requested recipe I remember my mom making many, many times growing up. Still one of my favorites today. Ingredients:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and cut in small pieces |
8 ounces pepperidge farm herb stuffing |
10 3/4 ounces cream of chicken soup |
1 cup hot chicken broth |
1/4 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Mix stuffing, cream of chicken soup, 1/2 stick of butter and chicken broth in a large bowl. 3. Even though not listed in the ingredients, I like to add 1 teaspoon of Paula Deen's Seasoning Mix (Paula Deen's House Seasoning Mix). 4. Add a layer of the mix to a casserole dish, then a layer of chicken. 5. Repeat layers until all is used. 6. Bake 45 minutes. |
