Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups raisins |
2 cups water |
2/3 cup white sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Combine raisins and water and cook over medium heat for 12 minutes. 2. Add sugar, flour, butter and cook two minutes more. 3. Pour cooled mixture into a pastry shell. 4. Place a top crust over top and make vent slashes. 5. Bake 375 degrees F for 30 minutes, until golden and bubbly. 6. Note: Rind and juice of 1/2 a fresh lemon or orange may be added. |
