Amazing topping to decadent desert-style sweet potato casserole Ingredients:
3 cups smashed yams (about 4 yams peeled, baked and then mashed with mixer) |
1/2 cup white sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup brown sugar |
2/3 cup flour |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1/3 cup softened butter |
Directions:
1. Mix all casserole ingredients together with mixer on low. 2. Spread in 9 baking dish. 3. Combine topping ingredients with a fork until butter is evenly distributed. 4. Spread pecan mixture over the sweet potatoes evenly. 5. Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees F. |
