Perfect for the fall! Or hoard some canned pumpkin and make it any time of the year! This recipe was my Grammy's and its absolutely delicious! Ingredients:
3 1/3 cups sifted flour |
3 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
4 eggs |
1 cup oil |
2/3 cup water |
2 cups canned pumpkin |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. 2. Grease and flour 3 loaf pans. 3. Blend all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. 4. Make a hole in the center and add eggs, oil, water, and pumpkin. 5. Stir until well mixed. 6. Divide into three loaf pans. 7. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. 8. Cool in pans on rack for 20, then remove from pans. 9. Enjoy! |
