My mother-in-law made this recipe up and wrote brief directions down for me. I hope I'm getting the details correct-it's a juicy chicken dish! Ingredients:
1 (15 -18 piece) package chicken tenders |
1 cup italian dressing |
1 (8 ounce) package sliced mushrooms |
1 small shallot, diced |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. marinate chicken tenders in dressing for one hour. 2. heat oven to 350. 3. Bake chicken for 30 minutes. Transfer to another dish or pour off liquid. 4. While chicken bakes, saute mushrooms & shallots in butter. 5. Top cooked chicken with shredded cheese and put back in oven until cheese melts. 6. Serve with mushrooms on the side. |
