My Grandmother sent me this recipe, another one that she highly recommends. She says this is great for parties, pinics or anything because it keeps well in the fridge! Ingredients:
8 cups shredded cabbage |
2 medium chopped onions |
2 chopped green peppers |
1 cup vinegar |
1 cup white sugar |
2 teaspoons celery salt |
2 teaspoons mustard seeds |
1 teaspoon turmeric |
Directions:
1. Combine veggies in a bowl. 2. Combine remaining ingredients in sauce pan over medium high heat and bring to a boil. 3. Pour over veggies, mix, and place in air tight container over night. 4. Mix well from bottom before serving. |
