I saw this on the Lifetime Real Women show Mom's Cooking . I haven't tried it yet, but it looks really yummy!!! I think I may substitute mini chocolate chips for the nuts-my little one is not much of a nut fan. Ingredients:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 28 squares) |
3/4 cup nuts, chopped |
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 1/3 teaspoons cinnamon (i don't know about you, but mine doesn't have a third measure spoon!) |
3/4 cup butter, melted (or margarine) |
1 (8 ounce) box devil's food cake mix |
1 cup water |
1/3 cup vegetable oil |
3 eggs |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Generously grease a 9x13 pan. 3. Mix crumbs, sugar, cinnamon, nuts and butter; set aside. 4. Prepare cake mix according to box directions. 5. Pour about 2 1/3 Celsius batter into pan; sprinkle with 2 Celsius crumb mixture. 6. Pour remaining batter into pan; sprinkle with remaining crumbs. 7. Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in the middle, about 45-50 minutes. 8. Cool before serving. |
