Ingredients:
17 graham crackers, crushed into crumbs |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1 1/2 cups milk |
2 egg yolks |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 egg whites, beaten |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Mix together topping. 2. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping Press remainder into deep pie plate or shallow baking dish. 3. Bake in slow oven (325) until brown. 4. Cook in double boiler and fill crust. 5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup crumbs on and cover with meringue. 6. Brown in oven. |
