Graham crackers are topped with marshmallows, buttery syrup and lots of almonds and coconut. Another great recipe for entertaining. Just don't count calories......LOL Land-O-Lakes Cookbook Ingredients:
12 double graham crackers |
2 cups miniature marshmallows |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup almonds, sliced |
1 cup coconut, flaked |
Directions:
1. heat oven to 350*F. 2. line 15x10x1 jelly roll pan with graham crackers. 3. sprinkle marshmallows evenly over crackers. 4. in 2qt saucepan combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. 5. cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until brown sugar is dissolved and butter is melted. 6. pour evenly over crackers and marshmallows. 7. sprinkle with almonds and coconut. 8. bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. 9. cool completely, cut into bars. |
