Grandma made this bar recipe and we never could get enough of it! I take this to potlucks and it is one of the first pans empty. I have given out the recipe a lot. Try it you'll like it! Ingredients:
whole graham crackers (whole and crushed needed) |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup coconut |
1 cup graham crackers crushed |
1/2 cup milk |
1 stick maragine |
powdered sugar frosting |
Directions:
1. LIne a 9 x13 pan with whole graham crackers. 2. In sauce pan: boil brown sugar, milk, maragine, coconut, crushed graham crackers for 5 min. until thick. 3. While boiling stir constantly-cooking on medium heat. 4. Spread on top of whole crackers. 5. Top with another layer of whole crackers. 6. Frost with powdered sugar frosting. 7. Keep in refrig. for 4 hours before cutting. |
