This recipe comes from my Great Aunt Eva. I like the simplicity of the recipe. Ingredients:
1 cup crushed graham cracker |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup coconut |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup butter |
15 sheets graham crackers |
Directions:
1. Mix together the first 5 ingredients. 2. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stir often. 3. Line 9x13 pan with whole graham crackers laid 3 across and 5 rows down. 4. Use 7.5 whole crackers. 5. Cover with filling and a similar layer of crackers. 6. Top with powdered sugar frosting and a few nuts. 7. Refrigerate. |
