Ingredients:
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1 teaspoon(s) baking soda |
1 cup(s) butter - melted |
1 cup(s) buttermilk |
3 eggs |
2 cup(s) flour - unbleached |
1 cup(s) graham cracker crumbs (14 squares) |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 1/2 cup(s) sugar |
Directions:
1. Blend butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Mix together: flour, graham cracker crumbs, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk (beginning and ending with flour). Pour into buttered bundt pan. Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour (toothpick inserted in center should come out clean). Cool upright in pan for 15 minutes. Invert onto serving plate. 2. Chocolate Glaze: 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1 cup chocolate chips, and 2 teaspoons light corn syrup. 3. Scald cream, stir in chips and corn syrup. Cover, let stand for 15 minutes until chips are melted. Stir carefully, not making bubbles. Spoon glaze onto cooled cake. 4. Enjoy! |
