This is a dense bread..yummy! Ingredients:
2 cups milk |
2 tablespoons cider vinegar |
1 1/2 cups graham flour |
2 cups flour |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup molasses |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine milk and cider vinegar; let stand 5 minutes. 2. Blend all ingredients together until thoroughly combined either by hand or using a heavy duty mixer. 3. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pans. 4. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean. 5. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to rack to cool completely. |
