Very quick, easy way to start your day, especially with the nutrients in this recipe. The blueberries and walnuts are real brain food, so give this a shot next time you don't have time to eat breakfast.( I know I've said it before, I hate measuring. You can ignore these measures and just eye out your own yummy creation, change the fruit, change the nuts, whatever goes!) Ingredients:
1/2 whole wheat pita bread |
1 ounce fresh blueberries |
1 tablespoon dried cranberries |
2 tablespoons light cream cheese |
1 tablespoon walnuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. Spread cream cheese in pita. 2. Add blueberries, cranberries, and walnuts. 3. Place on a micro-safe plate and heat for 10-15 seconds in microwave. 4. Wrap in paper towel, now run so you won't be late for work! |
