Goulash was a staple of my mother's menus when I was growing up. I found myself craving it one day and threw together this soup for a quick and hearty meal. Ingredients:
10 3/4 ounces condensed tomato soup |
10 3/4 ounces water |
1 cup macaroni, cooked |
8 ounces ground turkey |
1/2 cup onion, diced |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/2 cup frozen corn |
1 tablespoon parsley |
2 teaspoons italian seasoning |
Directions:
1. Prepare tomato soup with water as directed on can. 2. Brown ground turkey with onion and garlic. 3. Add parsley and seasoning to soup. 4. Stir corn and turkey mixture into prepared soup. 5. Add macaroni and simmer for 5-10 minutes for flavors to blend. 6. Top with grated cheese, if desired. |
