GOUDA BISCUITS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Lanier Estate in Crandall, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
1/2 pound smoked gouda cheese grated |
1/2 pound butter at room temperature |
2 cups self rising flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon hot paprika |
1 teaspoon mild paprika |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in work bowl of a food processor fitted with steel blade. 2. Process until a ball forms then remove and roll into small balls. 3. Flatten with a fork dipped in cold water to prevent sticking. 4. Place on parchment lined jelly roll pan then bake at 350 for 12 minutes. 5. Serve hot. |
