Get ready for this baked potato. It's double baked. The filling is scrumptious! Ingredients:
3 large baking potatoes |
8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded |
french onion dip (8 ounces) |
1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature |
3 green onions, thinly sliced, including the green part |
3 dashes louisiana hot sauce |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Wash and scrub potatoes 2. Wrap in foil 3. Bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees 4. When baked, remove from oven, cool, slice in half 5. Using a teaspoon, scoop the potatoes, leaving only a potato boat 6. In a medium bowl, mash the scooped potatoes thoroughly 7. Add the softened butter, French Onion Dip, cheese, sliced green onions, hot sauce, salt, and pepper to taste 8. Mix well 9. Mound the mixture back into the empty potato boats 10. Place in a baking pan or on a cookie sheet 11. Bake again at 350 degrees for about 30 more minutes |
