I usually double these for a gathering. We are gorgonzola freaks! And these are super good and easy as well.. Plus they look good on a platter with fruit. Ingredients:
4 oz cream cheese, softened |
4 oz. crumbled goirgonzola cheese |
2 tsp. finely chopped onion |
1/2 tst. worcestershire sauce |
1/4 tsp black pepper |
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon |
1 apple , sliced |
1 pear, sliced |
bunch of grapes |
Directions:
1. Beat first 5 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until well combined. 2. Cover tightly and chill at least 1 hour or until firm (can chill up to 3 days). 3. Roll cheese mixture into 3/4-inch-round balls. 4. Roll each ball in bacon. 5. Serve immediately, or cover and chill until ready to serve. 6. If chilled, let stand 30 minutes befoe serving. Serve with apple and pear slices and grapes. |
