Rich,creamy and delicious stuffed mushrooms. Ingredients:
1 lb. fresh whole mushrooms |
1/3 c crumbled gorgonzola cheese or blue cheese |
1/4 c italian bread crumbs |
1/4 c chopped hazelnuts |
1/4 c fine chopped red pepper |
4 med. green onions,chopped (1/4c) |
1/2 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. Remove stems from mushroom caps;reserve caps. Finely chop enough stems to measure out about 1/2 c. Discard remaining stems. 2. In small bowl,mix chopped mushroom stems and remaining ingredients till well blended. Spoon into mushroom caps,mounding slightly. Place in ungreased 15x10 pan. 3. Bake 15 to 20 mins or till hot. Serve warm. |
