18 inch baguette cut into 30 slices |
1/4 cup plus 2 tbs olive oil |
3 cloves garlic minced |
14 oz canelllini beans drained |
5 1/2 oz gorgonzola cheese crumbled |
1/4 cup honey |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Line slices of bread on baking sheet. 2. drizzzle with the 1/4 cup oil 3. bake 350F 5 to 10 minutes or golden and crisp 4. With remaining oil, saute garlic breifly in pan add beans and season with salt and pepper 5. Cook until beans are very soft about 10 to 15 minutes 6. Then mash beans and set aside 7. Then spraed some 8. of mashed beans on each bread slice, top with the cheese and drizzle with the honey 9. perhaps a sprinkle of fresh chopped parsley too ! |
