Gorgeous Golden Coconut Candy Cocada

This is both an eye and taste pleaser. It is easy to make and will turn into a family and company favorite.
Ingredients:
2 medium coconuts or shredded coconut
1 1/2 c sugar
1 c milk
cinnamon sticks to taste
4 egg yolks
20 roasted almonds
butter to grease baking dish
Directions:
1. Peel and clean coconuts well.
2. Save coconut water in glass or plastic container to keep it fresh. Flake coconut meat with a grater.
3. Boil coconut flakes with coconut water, milk, sugar, and cinnamon sticks.
4. Bring to a boil until thick, or when stirring with a wooden spoon, you can see the bottom of the saucepan.
5. Remove from heat.
6. Fold in egg yolks and stir vigorously until a smooth batter forms. Pour into buttered baking dish and garnish with almonds.
7. Bake in preheated 350ยบ F oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
8. Let cool, then cut into bars.
