A very comforting, very tasty cheesy potato sure to please the cheddar and tater lovers in your household. Enjoy Ingredients:
1/4 cup margarine |
1/4 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 cups milk |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese |
5 cups potatoes peeled and sliced |
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs |
1 tablespoon margarine |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. In medium saucepan melt 1/4 cup margarine then stir in flour and salt. 3. Add milk then cook until mixture boils and thickens stirring constantly. 4. Stir in cheeses and potatoes then pour into greased casserole dish. 5. Combine crumbs with margarine then sprinkle over potatoes. 6. Cover and bake for 1-1/2 hours or until bubbly. |
