This is great with a pasta dish. Ingredients:
1 lb italian bread |
1 (12 ounce) package mozzarella cheese, shredded |
1/2 cup red onion, chopped |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon basil |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. 2. Slice loaf into 16 equal parts cutting through to within 1/2 inch of bottom of loaf. 3. Combine remaining ingredients, mix to blend. 4. Spread mixture on cut surfaces of bread. Loosely wrap loaf in foil. Bake for 25 minutes or until heated through. |
