Moist, buttery, cake-like cookies that are guaranteed to be a hit! Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) box butter recipe cake mix |
8 ounces cream cheese |
1/2 cup butter |
1 egg |
2 cups powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Allow butter and cream cheese to soften and preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Mix cake mix ( you can really use any kind, I have used butter and chocolate) with the butter, cream cheese and egg. 3. After the ingredients are all mixed together, put in refridgerator over night or for at least 4 hours. 4. Roll into balls (about the size of a cherry or slightly larger) and roll in powdered sugar. 5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. 6. I sometimes sprinkle a little extra powdered sugar on top after they come out of the oven, but this is not neccesary. |
