Since I substitute Splenda for all or most of the sugar in cake and cookie recipes, if I use a glaze, I want it to really be something special. Most powdered sugar glazes are merely sweet, without enough depth to really taste good. This one is sooo much better!! Of course you can double or triple the recipe to suit your needs. Ingredients:
1 cup powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons of melted butter (not margarine) |
milk or cream |
Directions:
1. Mix melted butter into powdered sugar. 2. Add enough milk, cream, or half and half to reach desired glaze consistency. Mix until smooth. 3. Spread or drizzle over cookies, muffins, cakes, etc. 4. YUM! |
