When I was in the 9th grade my mom called and asked me to make a meat loaf for supper because she was running late. I wrote down how to make it and hung up the phone, in the mean time the neighbor lady came over to visit and asked me what I was cookin', she started to take over and taa-daa this is what we made, my mom, dad, brothers and sisters thought it was very good! Now I am married and it is one of my father-in-laws requests. Along with my homemade mac and cheese! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1 1/2 slices bread, torn |
1/2 cup milk |
1 egg, beaten |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/8 teaspoon celery salt |
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Mix well; Shape into loaf pan, pour one can of tomato soup on top. Preheat over at 350, Bake 1 1/2 hour uncovered. |
