SUPER EASY! Made night before with garlic croutons, dried mustard, sausage, eggs, milk, cheese. Serve with fresh fruit, Devonshire cream, orange muffins, hot coffee. Great holiday breakfast-brunch menu Ingredients:
1 pound favorite pork sausage, fried and crumbled |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
8 eggs, beaten |
2-1/2 cups milk |
2 cups grated cheese |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 box garlic croutons |
Directions:
1. Pour the box of garlic croutons in a greased 9 x 13 dish 2. Layer sausage over croutons 3. Layer cheese over sausage 4. In large bowl, whisk eggs, mushroom soup, mustard, milk 5. Pour over croutons, sausage, cheese 6. Refrigerate overnight 7. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes 8. NOTE: May serve with fresh fruit, topped with my Easy Devonshire Sauce (recipe posted here), and Delicious Orange Muffins. This is especially great for the holidays. |
