Serve with biscuits or fruit Ingredients:
1 lb. sausage |
3 cups hominy grits, cooked |
1 cup cheddar chese, grated |
3 tbsp butter |
1 small onion, chopped |
6 eggs, well-beaten. |
Directions:
1. Brown & drain sausage 2. Cook Grits according to pkg directions 3. Add cheese & butter to the cooked grits & stir till melted 4. Let grits cool slightly. 5. Add onion. 6. Stir the eggs into the grits. 7. Spread sausage evenly on the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish 8. Pour the grits mixture over sausage. 9. Cover & cook at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, eggs should be set. |
