A refreshing blend of tropical flavors with a beautiful green hue, this smoothie is the perfect healthy start to your morning. Adjust fruit to taste, I seem to whittle down the fruit each time I make it as I come to love the green flavor more and more. Ingredients:
2 cups baby spinach |
1 cup nonfat plain yogurt |
3/4 cup chunk pineapple, drained |
1 -2 banana |
1 cup filtered water |
Directions:
1. Layer ingredients in a blender in this pattern: pineapple, 1 handful spinach, yogurt, 1 handful spinach, bananas, 1 handful spinach, water. Blend well and serve over ice. |
