I got this recipe more than 20 years ago from a relative in law who is now deceased. I have not made it in a long time, but have passed it on to friends who have complimented it highly. The ingredients are so easy to adjust to suit your own taste buds. Great on ribs or chicken. Enjoy!!! Ingredients:
1 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup cider vinegar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup white sugar |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and bring to a simmer. 2. If you want to thin it, just add more vinegar. |
