Gondi (Iranian Meatballs)

I got this from my friend Debbie Yakobian, who will always make these for me if I ask her nicely.
Ingredients:
1/2 kg ground turkey
1/4 kg cooked chickpeas
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper
3 -4 large onions, grated
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 cup oil
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together.
2. Form balls.
3. Cook in boiling water or chicken soup for 45 minutes.
