Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked basmati rice
2 cups cold water
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Combine rice and cold water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
2. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Stir in onions, raisins, and salt.
