2 cups flour |
1 tbs. baking powder |
2 tsp. sugar |
1 tsp. salt |
1 cup whipping cream |
1 cup golden raisins |
1 egg beaten fo glaze |
sugar for glaze |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees} In a large bowl mix:Flour Baking powder Sugar and Salt. Mix in 1 cup Cream. Gather dough into a ball adding a little more cream if needed. Untill dough holds together Knead in rasins on lightlly floured surface Pat into a rectangle 1/2 inch thick. with sharp knife cut 12 squares Space 1 inch apart on greased baking sheet brush with egg and sprinkle generousley with sugar. Bake about 15 minutes untill light brown Seve with sweet butter or fruit preserves. Makes 12 Biscuts |
