It's is delicious. A great alternative to brownies and blondies, and for those like me who aren't big fans of chocolate but love desserts. Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed |
1 egg, beaten |
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold (or margarine) |
1 cup peanuts, chopped (i just pour some in my food processor and chop until fine) |
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk) |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. Combine flour, brown sugar and egg; cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in peanuts. Reserving 2 cups crumb mixture, press remaining mixture on bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned. 3. In large bowl, with mixer, beat condensed milk with peanut butter and vanilla. Spread over prepared crust; top with reserved crumb mixture. 4. Bake 25 minutes longer or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars. Store leftovers covered at room temperature. |
