A wonderful refreshing summer punch Ingredients:
30 -35 mint sprigs |
2 cups granulated sugar |
2 quarts boiling water |
2 1/3 cups lemon juice (fresh, frozen or canned) |
2 quarts orange juice |
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple juice |
1 quart ginger ale |
1 quart sparkling water |
12 mint sprigs |
1 cup lemon, zest of |
Directions:
1. Wash mint. 2. In 4 quart saucepan, place 30-35 mint sprigs, sugar and water. 3. simmer uncovered for 10 min. 4. Chill and make sure all ingredients are chilled. 5. Strain mint syrup. 6. add lemon, orange and pineapple juice. 7. add ginger ale and sparkling water. 8. top with 12 mint sprigs and zest. 9. serve at once. |
