Wonderful tasting gingersnaps made easy with sugar cookie mix. The addition of pecans is nice. Ingredients:
1 pkg. duncan hines golden sugar cookie mix or reg. sugar cookie mix |
1 egg |
1tbs water |
1tbs light molasses |
11/2tsp ground ginger |
1tsp ground cinnamon |
1/2tsp baking soda |
1/4c granulated sugar |
1tbs milk |
1/3c finely chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. Grease cookie sheet 2. Combine cookie mix,egg,water,molasses,ginger,cinnamon and baking soda in large bowl. Stir till thoroughly blended 3. Drop by level Tablespoonsful into sugar. Roll to completele cover. Place 2' apart on prepared cokie sheets. Flatten slightly with bottom of drinking glass. Brush tops lightly with milk. Sprinkle with pecans. 4. Bake 9 mins for chewy cookies and 10 mins for crisp cookies.. Cool 2 mins on sheets . Remove to cooling racks. Cool completely. |
