Golden Cornbread With Cinnamon Honey Butter |

This is a staple. I make it quite often. we have it as a snack or after a meal as a sweet treat Ingredients:
2 1/ cup unbleached flour |
1 tsp salt |
1 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal |
2 1/2 cup buttermilk |
4 tsp baking powder |
1/4 cup grapeseed oil |
1/4 cup melted butter |
2/3 cup sugar |
2 beaten eggs |
cinnamon honey butter |
1/2 cup honey |
1/3 cup butter |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 400* 2. Combine dry ingredients mix well and make a well in the center set aside 3. Beat together very well eggs, oil, Butter and milk 4. Pour into well stir just until dry bits are moistened 5. Pour into a sprayed or lightly buttered 8 x8 square pan 6. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden cool on rack 7. serve with Cinnamon Honey butter 8. To make up Butter : 9. Combine butter, Honey and Cinnamon 10. Mix in mixer until light and fluffy |
