Golden Age Cherry Pie Cake

Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 cup milk
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350*F.
2. Cream margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla.
3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
4. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternating with 1 cup milk.
5. Pour batter in 9 x 13-inch pan.
6. Spoon 1 can cherry pie filling over batter.
7. Blend the topping ingredients and crumble over filling.
8. Bake at 350*F for 30 minutes.
