I love amaretto pretty much any way it is served (straight, with club soda, over vanilla ice cream, etc.) This is a great cocktail, very smooth. Ingredients:
1 1/3 ounces scotch whisky |
2/3 ounce amaretto |
ice |
Directions:
1. Mix the scotch and amaretto over ice in a rocks glass and enjoy.
2. I use a blended scotch for cocktails, reserving single malts for drinking neat, and of course only use the original Disarrono Amaretto.
3. The proportion of amaretto to scotch can be adjusted to individual tastes.
