Extreme fruit salad. This isn't your grandmother's recipe! Serve immediately or cover and chill. Flavors will mellow with refrigeration. Ingredients:
1 cup chopped pineapple |
1 cup green grapes |
1 cup chopped granny smith apple |
1 cup chopped fresh strawberries |
1 cup pitted and halved cherries |
1 cup chopped peach |
1 cup chopped pear |
1 (3.5 ounce) package shredded coconut |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 cups sour cream, or as needed |
2 cups miniature marshmallows |
1 cup chopped banana |
1 cup peeled and chopped kiwi |
2/3 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Mix pineapple, grapes, apple, strawberries, cherries, peach, pear, and coconut together in a large bowl. Stir in vanilla extract and enough sour cream to coat fruit mixture. Gently fold marshmallows, banana, and kiwi into fruit salad; top with pecans. |
