Super easy appetizer! Use a French bagueete....not French bread which has a crispier crust Recipe and photo from Pillsbury 1999 Ingredients:
1/2 french baguette, cut into 16 thin slices |
3 tbl e.v.o.o |
1(6 oz.) pkg chevre (goat) cheese |
2 tbl finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes in herbs and oil |
1 tsp dried basil leaves |
5 to 6 drops hot pepper sauce or to taste |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 2. Arrange bread on cookie sheet and brush with oil 3. Bake at 375 for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned 4. Meanwhile in a small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; blend well 5. Remove bread slices from oven 6. Spread with cheese mixture 7. Return to oven; bake an additional 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through 8. 16 appetizers |
