great, easy appetizer with a unique flavor. Dresses up well! Ingredients:
1 (4 ounce) package goat cheese, room temperature |
1 loaf baguette, sliced |
1/2 cup kalamata olive |
1/4 cup green olives |
2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette (more or less to taste) |
olive oil |
Directions:
1. preheat broiler. 2. slice bread, and brush each slice with olive oil. 3. toast under broiler until light brown and crispy. 4. finely chop olives (I use my food processor), and add balsamic vinaigrette. 5. spread goat cheese on each slice, and add olive mixture on top. |
