This gluten free sandwich is full of protein and tasty to boot. For me, the avocado makes a great whole food substitute for mayo. Here's a meal in a sandwich. Goes great with any number of fresh green salads or soups. Ingredients:
2 slices bread (gluten free nutty bread recipe on my food blog) |
smear dijon mustard |
2 slices avocados |
2 pieces romaine lettuce |
2 slices roasted turkey |
Directions:
1. 1. Toast bread. 2. 2. Smear bread with mustard and avocado. 3. 3. Place lettuce on bread, then turkey slices. 4. 4. Close sandwich and eat. |
