3/4 cup apple cider |
1 1/4 cups water |
1 tsp fresh grated ginger |
1/2 tsp nutmeg |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/4 cup uncooked millet |
1/2 cup toasted buckwheat kernels (kasha) |
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce |
Directions:
1. In a pot, bring apple cider and water to a boil. 2. Add ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and millet. 3. Reduce heat, cover and cook 15 minutes (do not stir). 4. Add buckwheat and applesauce. 5. Raise heat to medium-low and cook, covered, for 15 minutes longer. |
