This is a low fat gluten-free falafel recipe. Ingredients:
30 oz of chick peas |
2 tablespoon garlic |
2 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon turmeric |
6 minced scallions |
1 cup parsley |
1 egg |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 dash cayenne pepper |
1/2 cup rice flour |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Put beans in a food processor and mash as much as possible. 3. Put everything else except flour in the food processor and continue to chop it up until thoroughly blended. 4. Put in a bowl and add flour until you get a firm, thick batter. 5. Form into balls or patties and place on a baking sheet. 6. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown. |
