Gluten Free Creamy Clam Chowder

Ingredients:
2 6 oz cans chopped clams
2 cups chopped potatoes
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
1 cup chopped onions
11/2 cups sliced carrots
3/4 cup rice flour
3/4 cup butter
1 quart half and half
sea salt to taste
pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Put vegetables in saucepan, drain clam juice over veggies and then just cover veggies with water
2. simmer until potaotes are tender
3. In large pan melt butter blend in rice flour
4. simmer for 2 minutes stiring constantly
5. add half and half bring to boil stiring constantly
6. Add veggies liquid and all
7. add clams
8. add seasonings
9. heat and serve
