6 cups uncooked quick oats |
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
3/4 cup wheat germ |
1/2 cup shredded coconut |
1/3 cup sesame seeds |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1/3 cup honey |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla |
3/4 cup dried cranberries |
Directions:
1. Place oats in ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. 2. Remove and blend in remaining dry ingredients (brown sugar through walnuts). 3. Add oil honey and vanilla; mix until dry ingredients are well coated. Divide mixture into two equal parts; bake each separately in an ungreasted 9x13-inch baking pan 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beginning to brown. Add dried cranberries; cook 5 minutes longer. 4. Stir until crumbly and store in tightly covered container in refrigerator. |
